Continuing our long history of working within the Care Sector, Shanco were contracted to undertake a full groundworks package as part of the construction of a new Care Home facility. We have worked with this customer for over 15 years across various projects and have developed an excellent relationship. Associated works included the bulk earthworks, foundation works, drainage installation, hard landscaping, and Section 278 works.

The site was very confined, so our programming was crucial to conserve space and improve access. This meant that before the full site accommodation and setup arrived, we had to carry out the bulk earthworks, install the attenuation tank and tarmac the carpark. We worked alongside key members of our supply chain to carry out a large volume of the works within a short space of time. This allowed the groundwork package to progress quickly and in turn improved the overall construction programme.
